Context-based teaching is the use of contexts as a starting point for development scientific ideas in learning environments. Teachers can this approach to increase students' motivation and willingness learn science. The focus research was develop context-based competencies teachers. With mind, aimed determine effects feedback on teachers' competency factors affecting process. In study, collective case study design employed. carried out with two chemistry teachers who participated In-Service Training Course Context-Based Chemistry Teaching conducted by researcher. data were collected through field notes, semi-structured interview, follow up interviews video recordings. As result research, it determined that had positive effect competency. It revealed teacher anxiety, professional knowledge, difficulty designing materials lack interest students affected
